How to swap
The Swap interface converts one side of a corridor into the other, for example cNGN into USDT, wARS into USDT, or XAUt into USDT. Most swaps clear instantly and in full against the filler order book at the rate quoted on screen.
Textile FX runs in two modes on the swap page: Instant (this guide) executes now at the book's best price; Limit rests an order at your own price until the market reaches it — see How to place a limit order. The Buy and Sell tabs on the same page open a partner fiat on/off-ramp for the NGN corridor and are separate from Textile FX itself.
Before you start
- A wallet (the app supports standard EVM wallets) with the asset you're selling and a little native gas token.
- Your wallet connected to the network the corridor lives on. The app prompts you to switch if needed.
Steps
- Open app.textilecredit.com/s/swap.
- Connect your wallet.
- Pick the pair, e.g. sell cNGN, receive USDT.
- Enter the amount to sell. The quote updates live: the expected result and the effective rate, with all fees included.
- Press Review swap and check the numbers.
- Approve the token if this is your first swap (one-time per token).
- Press Submit swap and confirm in your wallet.
USDT arrives in your wallet as soon as the transaction confirms.
What you pay
Swaps carry a small taker fee (1 bps on BSC and Celo, 5 bps on Ethereum), already baked into the quoted rate. There are no other charges. See Fees for the full breakdown.
If the order book can't cover your full amount
When your amount is larger than the current book depth, the app tells you before you commit. Swap the amount the book can fill now and come back for the rest: filler depth replenishes continuously as bots requote.
NOTE
There is also a minimum swap size, set by the smallest order fillers will serve. The app shows it when your amount is below it.
