How to swap ​

The Swap interface converts one side of a corridor into the other, for example cNGN into USDT, wARS into USDT, or WETH into USDT. You enter an amount, makers price that size, and you get one firm quote to execute or a clear "nobody quoted".

The swap page has two modes. Swap, this guide, solicits a firm quote for the amount you typed. Limit rests an order at your own price until the market reaches it, covered in How to place a limit order. The Deposit and Withdraw tabs open a partner fiat on and off-ramp for the NGN corridor and are separate from Textile FX itself.

Before you start ​

You need a wallet holding the asset you are selling plus a little native gas token. The app supports standard EVM wallets. Connect to the network the corridor lives on, or let the app prompt you to switch.

Steps ​

  1. Open app.textilecredit.com/s/swap.
  2. Connect your wallet.
  3. Pick the pair, for example sell cNGN, receive USDT.
  4. Enter the amount to sell. The app shows an indicative rate from published maker levels, then a Request quote button.
  5. Press Request quote and sign the message your wallet shows. It is free and moves nothing. It proves the wallet is yours, which matters because makers reserve real inventory for the size you asked for. One signature covers your quotes for about 12 hours. After that, or from a new network, you will be asked to sign again.
  6. Makers have about a second to price the full size. You get one firm quote with a countdown, or a clear no-quote.
  7. Check the debit, credit, and rate. Approve the token if this is your first swap with it. That is a one-time transaction per token.
  8. Press Submit swap and confirm in your wallet before the quote expires. If it expires, request a new one. Nothing auto-refreshes.

Your USDT arrives as soon as the transaction confirms.

What you pay ​

A small taker fee, 1 bps on BSC and Celo, 5 bps on Ethereum, already baked into the quoted rate. There are no other charges. See Fees.

If nobody quotes your size ​

A quote covers the whole amount. There is no partial fill. If makers cannot do the full size you get no_quote rather than a smaller trade. Try a smaller amount, or rest a limit order and wait.

Quotes also expire. A long-open tab does not keep asking makers. Press Request new quote.

NOTE

There is also a minimum swap size. The app shows it when your amount is below it.
